Gorey Tennis Club hosted a coffee morning recently and raised €1,265 for UNICEF.

Members of the club baked sweet treats such as brownies, cupcakes and cookies which guests were able to take to enjoy with their tea and coffee. The club set up a QR code and a sum up account which people could use to donate.

“It was a nice morning. We chose UNICEF because of GAZA and all the children,” said Club President, Eileen Cullen. There was great turnout at the coffee morning which ran from 10a.m. to 1p.m..

Gorey Tennis Club are currently running a tournament to raise money for St Aidan’s and they have social tennis night every Thursday evening .
