What did Ramiz Raja say about Pakistan vs Ireland coverage?

Former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja has raised his concern over the quality of the match coverage and broadcast in the three-match T20I series against Australia.

Raja claimed that the broadcast was below par and not fit for a team of Pakistan’s stature as he compared it to the level of club cricket. He even cited Pakistan’s rivals India’s example while claiming that the Men in Blues would have never agreed to play such a series had the coverage quality been so sub par.

Speaking to reporters he said,

The coverage of Ireland vs Pakistan is very poor. These matches are appearing as some club matches. I’m sure India would never have played the series against Ireland or allowed such coverage for their matches. This is hurting our brand.
