Waterland Ireland acquires two decarbonisation firms

Must read

Private equity firm Waterland Ireland has acquired two more firms as part of a €50m investment in decarbonisation-focused businesses.

Its Net Zero Group subsidiary has bought Co Kildare-based Caldor Solar – which specialises in solar panel installation for homes, businesses and farms.

It has also acquired Co Louth-based Zetta Home Services, which specialises in heat pump installation and maintenance.

It follows two deals by Waterland Ireland late last year, which saw it acquire Gaffney Mechanical and O’Connor Heating and Plumbing.

Waterland Ireland’s investment strategy sees it acquire and combine multiple firms in specific sectors.

Its Net Zero Group specialises in decarbonisation-focused firms, while Waterland also has a business focused on engineering, and one focused on nursing homes and residential care.
