SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -A Sioux Falls native will never forget last week. That’s because Jack Lundin was a member of Team USA that beat the International squad in the Arnold Palmer Cup in Ireland.
It’s similar to the Ryder Cup with the top college golfers competing. And for Jack, he’s still on cloud 9 over the experience and also being selected to be on the team.
Jack Lundin says, “When I got the phone call to go represent Team USA. And then once we got there to Lahinch, Ireland it was unbelievable. The golf course was great, Lahinch was great. The people there were great and we got treated like some what of celebrities so it was nice.”
So was winning the very first point for Team USA and helping his country to a victory.
Jack will now set his sights on making the PGA Tour. But he will take plenty of confidence and great memories as well from his incredible week in Ireland.
