Kerry are All-Ireland senior football champions having overcome Galway at Croke Park on Sunday afternoon.
The Kingdom were inspired by the shooting of Louise Ni Mhuircheartaigh, with five of her six points coming in the first half as Kerry got off and running in quick fashion.
Emma Dineen also caused the Tribe problems and had a personal tally of 1-02 to boast of. Aoife Dillane’s goal for Kerry in the late stages of the first half saw Kerry take a 1-08 to 0-03 lead into the half-time break.

With Ni Mhuircheartaigh doing great work to set up Hannah O’Donoghue in attack, the substitute goaled in the 45th minute.
She added two more points of her own before providing a feed for Dineen with a brilliant foot pass across from the left which set the latter up for Kerry’s third goal.
Galway lost Ailbhe Davoren to a sin bin yello card and lost their way in the closing stages as Kerry held out strongly for a 12 point win on a 3-14 to 0-11 scoreline.
Leitrim were intermediate All-Ireland winners as they held off a late Tyrone comeback for a 3-11 to 3-10 win and their first crown since their first in 2007.

Coming into the decider having already amassed a whopping 7-39 across the championship, Smyth’s scoring helped the Erne County on their way to a 1-11 to 0-12 win.
