An Irish man in his 60s has died in Thailand after reportedly falling from a hotel balcony.
The 67-year-old man died in the early hours of Monday morning in Pattaya, a popular city for tourists on Thailand’s eastern Gulf coast. He reportedly fell from the hotel’s 31st floor.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has said it is aware of the man’s death.
“The Department of Foreign Affairs is aware of the death and is providing consular assistance,” a spokesperson said.
“As with all consular cases, the Department does not comment on the details of any specific case.”
