Film star Saoirse Ronan is seeking planning permission to knock down and rebuild a stunning seafront house in the wilds of Co Cork which would include an orchard with Irish apples and a wildflower garden.
Her production company, Slaney Production Unlimited based in Dublin, where the Oscar-nominated actor and Gaby Smyth are directors, has filed a detailed planning application with Cork Council.
