Virgin Media Television has launched its new season schedule with notable documentaries including Generation Rent, addressing Ireland’s housing crisis, and a documentary about the woman at the centre of Donald Trump’s chaotic legal woes titled Stormy.
Additionally, Lucy Kennedy returns with her four-part series Real Lives, covering topics such as psychics, addiction and scamming.
Kennedy said she likes to put her guests at ease. “We are very conscious this is a very honest documentary series, and these are people’s real lives,” she said.
“Think people feel very comfy with me, that and I’m usually in a tracksuit wearing no bra and very little makeup so I think ‘well if that’s the presenter, I’m fine’”.
Morning show Ireland AM is back in the schedule and still going strong after 25 years.
Panto star and long-time host Alan Hughes reflected on the legacy of the early-morning audience favourite.
“Ireland AM to me is a family,” he said.
“It’s been 25 years of pleasure and joy. It’s been great, I’ve loved every minute of it.”
Meanwhile, the nation’s favourite Gogglebox Ireland returns for its tenth season, with new households joining our seasoned TV fanatics ready to comment on the week’s top tv.
The Irish dating show with a twist, Grá ar an Trá, is back for a second series with ten new singletons checking in to the ‘Love Teach’ to find a love for the Irish language and each other.

Meanwhile, Virgin Media has launched a new free streaming app for mobile, tablet and smart TV called Virgin Media Play.
Viewers can restart content and watch all Virgin Media channels in-app and stream major shows minutes after they have aired.
New exclusive programmes include drama series The Arrangement, and reality shows such as Below Deck Mediterranean, Million Dollar Listing, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules.
