Adare Manor in Co. Limerick has been voted as the ‘Best Resort in Europe’ for the third year in a row by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler.
The renowned publication has announced the winners of its Readers’ Choice Awards 2024, which are now in its 37th year.
The annual awards have become a must-read for travel lovers, showcasing the very best destinations and experiences from across the globe.
This year, over a half million readers cast their votes, sharing insights into their favourite hotels, resorts, and travel experiences. These voters assessed a range of criteria, including service, atmosphere, dining, and overall guest experience.
Adare Manor’s exceptional score secured its continued reign as Europe’s top resort, and was praised for its Michelin-starred dining, Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course and, of course, its 840-acre estate brimming with natural beauty.

This accolade follows the Michelin Guide’s recent initiative to highlight not only exceptional dining but also the world’s most remarkable hotels, offering travellers an unparalleled experience.
The award is on five universal criteria: the quality of architecture and interior design, consistency of service, unique personality, value for money, and contribution to the hotel’s neighbourhood or environment.
