The ieBusiness Podcast meets Paul Dubsky, founder of Ulysses Whiskey x Art

Dubliner Paul Dubsky spent his early childhood in Ireland before he and his family moved to Prague in the early 90s and while he has built a life in the Czech Republic he has also created business with deep Irish roots.

From Prague, Paul operates his whiskey company Ulysses Whiskey x Art from Ireland and although the business is in its infancy Paul is already eyeing up major markets across the globe including the US.

In this episode of the Irish Examiner’s ieBusiness Podcast, in association with PwC, Paul spoke candidly to business journalist Cáit Caden about working in the alcohol industry for decades before he decided to make his own product.

He also spoke about why he decided to base his business in Ireland despite the vast amount of regulatory red-tape required compared to the Czech Republic where he said you can sell items from “the boot of your car”.
