IRELAND AM star Muireann O’Connell left her fans “gasping” as she showed off her new haircut.
The Virgin Media host was back on air this morning with her usual co-host Alan Hughes.

The Limerick beauty got her hair chopped after yesterday to just below her shoulders and got a fresh set of highlights on her roots.
Muireann, who’s known for her stylish looks, recorded herself getting TV ready and showed off her new do as she shared the video on Instagram.
The popular presenter first put on a stunning blue knit cardigan from Seagreen that costs €207.
She paired it with a pair of silver Mango jeans, which is currently on sale for €54.74, down from €72.99, on ASOS.

Muireann then tired the same top with a faux leather silver skirt from Fee G that costs €151 on the website.
However, Muireann wasn’t too impressed with either outfits and instead popped on a pair of jeans and a nice top.
The sparkly red sequin short-sleeve top is from Seagreen and it retails for €131.
The flared dark denim jeans are also from the same brand and costs a whopping €315.
Muireann worried she was bring out “the sparkle too soon”, however her fans reassured her that she looked “gorgeous”.

Last night Muireann shared a “fantastic” cleaning hack for her fans.
The 41-year-old sat down in her living room, took out a flagon of vodka and added it to an empty spray bottle.

She said: “So you take half a bottle of vodka, then you top it up with half a glass of water, you shake it up and then you spray it all over your wools.”
The Irish host explained that the combination of liquids helps to “attack any bacteria that causes odour” in your wool clothing.
She added: “This means you don’t have to put your precious wools into the washing machine and therefore protecting them for longer.”
The Limerick native gushed about the simple method and ensured fans that “it worked”.
Muireann added in her caption: “How’re ya! This hack is decades old, if not centuries old. Pretty sure I had a grand-aunt who used vodka as a cleaner.
“I try to wash proper wool as little as possible. Often hang it in the bathroom when the shower is going to give it a steam clean. Do a lot of air cleaning but this hack totally works.
“You can use any old rubbish vodka. I was just out from my last batch. K, bye!”
