There was recognition for two Trim handlers, as well as the Grand National venue Fairyhouse..
It was a great Monday night for County Meath at the Annual HRI Awards Night at Dublin’s Mansion House.
Fairyhouse won the ‘Racecourse of the Year’ award while Trim based trainer Gerry Keane won the Outstanding Flat Award for the achievements of his Royal Ascot winner, Crystal Black.
And the National Hunt achievement award went to another Trim based handler Tom Gibney, for winning the Irish Grand National for a second time, this time with ‘Intense Raffles’.
