Limerick student takes home silver from World Skills Ireland competition

Keri Long was awarded a silver medal at the recent World Skills Ireland competition.

ONE Limerick student was feeling pampered and proud when she was awarded a silver medal in the Beauty Therapy category of the recent World Skills Ireland competition.

Keri Long, Business Beauty and Spa Management student at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Moylish Campus, took home the hotly-contested award in the annual competition aimed at seeking out exceptional achievement of apprentices and students across Ireland.

She was joined in victory by two other TUS students, Frank McManus and Brett Adams, who were awarded respectively in the Plumbing and Automotive Technology categories.
