The KPMG Irish Kids Golf Tour will return once again in 2025 with four iconic regional provincial venues again set in stone before the All-Ireland Trophy at the national academy home at Carton House.
Open to boys and girls aged between six and 13, the season kicks off with the Leinster Trophy at Killeen Castle, before moving on to the Slieve Russell, to Strandhill and to Fota Island before culminating with the All-Ireland Trophy on the Montgomerie Course at Carton House, host venue to three Irish Opens on the European Tour.
The Irish Kids Golf Tour is dedicated to the development of the next generation of elite performers, whilst providing a safe, friendly, and professionally run environment in which they can hone their skills, make lasting friendships, and test their talents on some of the finest golf courses that the country has to offer. And live, digital leaderboards provide an unmistakable ‘big tour’ experience, offering an additional taste of the environment enjoyed week-to-week by their heroes on the PGA, DP World, LET and LPGA Tours.
“Some of the golf on display was incredible and it is a great opportunity for these kids to not only play golf on some of the best courses on the island, but to meet other like-minded children of the same age, to learn from each other, to compete with one another, and to have lots of fun while doing so,” said Irish Kids Golf Tour founder Gordon Smyth after another extremely successful year in 2024.
“By having digital leaderboards with live scoring, it gives them a taster of what it is like to play proper ‘tour’ golf and who know, the next Rory McIlroy or Leona Maguire might emerge. Either way, they’ll all have had an unforgettable experience and will already be looking forward to playing again next year.”
To be eligible, kids must be aged between six and 13 on January 1st, 2025, and registrations will open on Sunday, February 23rd at 2pm.
