Must read

The Irish Aviation Authority has said that airspace has been cleared for Santa Claus to visit the children of Ireland tonight.

It posted official notice of Santa’s expected arrival into Irish skies.

Santa and his reindeer have already left the North Pole, with Met Éireann saying conditions in the sky are good this evening.

RTÉ News received a phone call from the Head Elf at the Northpole, confirming Santa’s departure.

He said that Santa will be flying over Ireland shortly, on his way to other countries.

Santa will visit approximately 800 million homes across 195 countries, with excitement building in homes across Ireland.

Paw patrol toys, dinosaurs and baking sets are just some of the presents packed into Santa’s sleigh.

Children at Malahide Castle said that they will leave out mince pies, milk and other snacks for Santa.

Carrots will also be provided for the reindeers steering the magical sleigh.

Some even reported hearing the scrunching of presents and sleigh bells in previous years.

However, children have been urged to get to bed as early as possible, to allow Santa to make his important deliveries.
