Accenture Ireland appoints Pamela Barry as marketing and communications lead – Business Plus

Accenture Ireland has announced the appointment of Pamela Barry as marketing and communications lead.

In her new role, Barry will join the Accenture Ireland leadership team and hold responsibility for creating and executing the professional service’s groups marketing and communications strategy.

She will oversee all activity across Accenture’s marketing team in Ireland, including local brand and reputation, its talent brand and people communications, and CMD communications.

Barry has held numerous role within Accenture over the last decade, including people communications lead for growth & strategy at the office of Accenture’s chief strategy officer, Bhaskar Ghosh.

Before joining the company, Barry held marketing positions in companies across multiple industries including advertising, FMCG, banking and telecommunications.

She also lectures part-time at Dublin City University (DCU) as part of the undergraduate degree in Marketing, Innovation & Technology.

Barry holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies and a Master’s degree in Marketing, both from DCU, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Event Management with PR from the Fitzwilliam Institute. She is also IMI-certified, having completed the Taking the Lead – Women in Leadership course,
