All-Ireland champions Dublin will face either Derry or Galway in the quarter-final next weekend after the last-eight line-up was finalised today.

Louth’s dramatic win over Cork saw them join fellow preliminary quarter-final winners Roscommon, Derry and Galway in the draw, which will take place on RTE Radio one on Monday morning and will be subject to a number of conditions.

The four group stages winners – Armagh, Donegal, Dublin and Kerry – will be drawn against the winners of this weekend’s preliminary quarter-finals, Derry, Galway, Louth and Roscommon.

The draw is subject to the avoidance of repeat provincial final pairings and where possible repeat pairings from the group stage.

That means Derry can’t play Armagh as they met in the group stages. Louth can’t play Dublin after their Leinster final meeting and Ger Brennan’s men can’t face Kerry either. Roscommon can’t be drawn against Dublin and Galway can’t play Armagh after they played out a draw in the round robin series.

The draw takes place Monday morning on ‘Morning Ireland’ at around 8.30am with the GAA expected to fix two of the quarter-finals for Saturday evening and two for Sunday afternoon. RTE will broadcast two games while GAAGO have rights to the other two.
