Kingspan Breffni will host an intriguing SFC semi-final between two first-time provincial champions, the All-Ireland favourites from Cuala in Dublin and the leftfield Connacht kingpins from Coolera Strandhill in Sligo.
That game will throw in at 1.30pm on Sunday, January 5, with the second semi-final between Kerry standard-bearers Dr Crokes of Killarney and Errigal Ciaran of Tyrone fixed for 3.30 that same afternoon in Laois Hire O’Moore Park. Both matches will be broadcast live on TG4.
As ever, Croke Park will host the various All-Ireland club finals on different dates in January, including the senior football and hurling deciders on Sunday, January 19.
