Following their Galway and Connacht successes in recent weeks, Annaghdown’s ladies football team travel to Scotland next Saturday (23rd November 2024) when they meet Edinburgh’s Dunedin Connollys in the AIB All-Ireland intermediate quarter-final.
Understandably, such an excursion comes with major costs and while the local community have responded to support the team, the club is hoping that more from the county will support them as they represent the maroon and white on the national an international stage.
