Artificial intelligence company Anthropic has announced that its AI tool “Claude” is now available to users in Ireland and across Europe.
Anthropic is an AI safety and research company based in San Francisco and its flagship product, Claude, is an AI model similar to ChatGPT.
Users are now able to access a free web-based version and a free app.
A paid “Claude 3” model is also available for businesses.
Anthropic said that Claude has strong levels of comprehension and fluency in French, German, Italian, Spanish and other European languages.
In March, the company announced that it would open an office in Dublin as part of plans to increase its presence across Europe. This followed the opening of a small London office in 2023.
