It was a positive draw for the Galway teams in Basketball Ireland’s National Cup Draw for the Pat Duffy, Paudie O’Connor and President’s cups.
Starting with the Pat Duffy Cup, 2023 champions Maree will be at home where they face Garvey’s Tralee Warriors.
In the Paudie O’Connor Cup, University of Galway Mystics received a first-round bye and will be the away team in their quarter-final where they play the winners of the game between Gurranabraher Credit Union Brunell and SETU Waterford Wildcats.
In the President’s Cup, both Maigh Cuillin and Titans received home draws, Titans will play Scott’s Lakers Killarney while Maigh Cuillin take on ND Audits Portlaoise Panthers. If Titans were to win they would have a home quarter-final, while Maigh Cuillin will be away in the next round if they advance.
