A year ago at The K Club, we asked Shane Lowry whether the week of the Irish Open was as little craic as it seemed. Or words to that effect.
It was the Friday afternoon after his second round, a smooth 68. They were seven deep at the ropes beside the practice area roughly six hours earlier when Lowry strolled over from The K Club’s ultra-swish clubhouse for his morning tune-up.
