The existing Errigal Bay factory in Meenaneary, Carrick, Co Donegal
Donegal-based seafood processing group Errigal Bay is planning to develop a factory producing oat milk that will represent an invest of over €20m, the Sunday Independent understands.
Last week, Errigal Bay secured planning permission from Donegal County Council to develop the factory. According to documents submitted with the application, the large oat-milk plant will be built on the same site as a large seafood processing facility near Meenaneary, Co Donegal, with the potential to grow employment there from 140 to 195.
