Donegal v Louth: TV channel, what time, stats and news ahead of All-Ireland quarter-final

Must read

It’s quarter-final weekend in the GAA football All-Ireland championships, with four fascinating contests on the Croke Park schedule on Saturday and Sunday, including Donegal’s highly-anticipated clash with Louth.

Ulster will have three representatives in Donegal, Armagh and Derry; Connacht (Galway, Roscommon) and Leinster (Dublin, Louth) two each, while Kerry will fly Munster’s flag.

The Donegal v Louth clash ensures that at least one team who were in Division 2 this year will reach the semi-finals – and there could be a second as Armagh, who were also in Division 2,  take on Roscommon.

Donegal v Louth

Donegal and Louth are set to meet in the championship for the first time ever this weekend. Donegal have won five and lost one of their six championship games so far this year, while Louth have won four, drew one and lost two of their seven games, taking them into the All-Ireland quarter-finals for the first time.

Donegal and Louth met in Round 5 of this year’s Allianz League (Division 2), with Donegal winning by 1-17 to 0-15.

When is Donegal v Louth?

Donegal take on Louth this Sunday, June 30 at Croke Park in the curtain-raiser of the day’s double-header at GAA HQ with throw-in fixed for 1.15pm.

Where can I watch Donegal v Louth?

The match will be broadcast live on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player with coverage getting underway at 12.45pm.

What are the odds?

Donegal are nailed-on favourites in the bookies’ eyes at a price of 1/5, Louth are 9/2 and a draw is 11/1.
