Dunnes Stores issues recall for three sleepsuit products for newborn babies due to ‘safety issue’

Dunnes Stores has issued a product recall for three children’s clothes items for newborn babies sold in Ireland.

The retailer issues the recall in an advertisement in today’s Irish Independent newspaper.

“It has come to our attention that a safety issue has been identified with the use of these products,” Dunnes Stores said in its warning to Irish customers.

The first item is a Bunny Zip Sleepsuit for newborns up to 18 months, with the style number 6421432.

The Lion Zip sleepsuit for newborns up to 18 months with style number 6421433 is also affected.

The final item being recalled by the grocer is the Animal Sleepsuit for newborns up to 18 months, with the style number 6421434.

“We are issuing a product recall notice in respect of these products,” Dunnes Stores said.

Customers who have purchased any of the three items can return the products to their local store where a full refund will be issued.

“We apologise for any inconvenience,” Dunnes Stores added.
