Former Republic of Ireland winger Aiden McGeady has retired from professional football.
The former Celtic, Sunderland and Everton wide-man was most recently employed in a player/technical director role at Scottish club Ayr United.
After failing to play minutes this season, he left the Championship outfit by mutual consent at the beginning of October.
McGeady – having made his debut for the Boys in Green in 2004 – earned 93 caps before retiring from the international stage in 2017.
