GAA on TV: All-Ireland club football action picks up again as three Ulster sides continue their All-Ireland title push

Must read

FOOTBALL is back with a bang after a brief festive hiatus with the All-Ireland Club series getting underway.

Three Ulster sides are in action this weekend across the three levels this weekend, with Errigal Ciarán, Ballinderry and Naomh Padraig all playing, all of which will be streamed or broadcast.

Errigal Ciarán take on Kerry’s Dr Crokes in the All-Ireland Club Senior Football Championship semi-final for a place in Croke Park on January 19, with coverage on TG4 starting at 3.10pm.

The Tyrone and Ulster champions have the opportunity to play either Cuala of Dublin and Coolera/Strandhill of Silgo, who play in the other semi-final, which will also be broadcast on TG4, with coverage starting from 1pm.

Former All-Ireland senior champions and Derry Intermediate championship winners Ballinderry Shamrocks also take on opposition from the Kingdom in the shape of Austin Stacks in the All-Ireland Intermediate Football Championship semi-final.

The winner of this tie will play either Crossmolina Deel Rovers from Mayo or Caragh from Kildare in the other semi-final.

Both of the Intermediate semi-finals can be streamed on TG4’s YouTube channel, TG4 Spórt.

Donegal and Ulster junior winners Naomh Padraig are vying with Tara GFC of London to book their place in the All-Ireland Junior semi-final.

The two will play out the Ulster Junior Football Championship Twinning Final (basically an All-Ireland quarter-final), the stream for which can be bought on Ulster GAA TV for £10.

Should they take that title, Naomh Padraig would take on Kilmurry of Cork.

The other semi-final consists of Galway junior champions An Cheathrú Rua and Ballinagar of Offaly.

This match-up is also available on TG4 Spórt.
