GB golf journalists tee off in Castlerock

Millions of golf fans across Great Britain are set to read all about our world-class golf, following a recent visit by leading GB journalists to Northern Ireland. The journalists, who write for media outlets such as The Independent, The Herald and Golf News Magazine, were here as guests of Tourism Ireland and Tourism NI.

The journalists have been testing their golf skills at the parkland course at Templepatrick Golf Club on Kingfisher Country Estate, the Mussenden Course at Castlerock Golf Club and the Dunluce Links at Royal Portrush – the venue for The Open in 2025. Their itinerary also included exploring the Causeway Coastal Route – taking in the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Ballintoy Harbour and the Giant’s Causeway.

We’re also taking every opportunity to highlight the fact that The Open will return to Royal Portrush next year and the Ryder Cup will take place at Adare Manor in 2027.”
