Ryan Moore rides Bubbling but I like Ger Lyons’ CHANTEZ. She impressed on her debut over course and distance when finishing second and she followed that up by winning at Leopardstown ahead of the reopposing Indigo Dream. She impressed me during that win and Ger often has winners on Irish Champions Weekend.

Green Impact beat DELACROIX at Leopardstown earlier this year but I fancy Ryan Moore and Aidan O’Brien to reverse the form. That run was Delacroix’s debut and he bounced back to win at the Curragh when clocking decent times. He should be hard to beat.

Coming down a furlong to a mile won’t inconvenience DIEGO VELAZQUEZ and he can build on his win at Leopardstown ahead of Tarawa last time out. I’m not really strong on the race but he should have too much quality for the opposition.

I was against PORTA FORTUNA in the Coronation at Royal Ascot but she proved me wrong. She’s since won the Falmouth at Newmarket and I can’t oppose her. Fallen Angel hasn’t run since her Irish 1,000 Guineas win so I’ll stick with the slightly fitter horse.

I’ve landed on AUGUSTE RODIN. I can see Luxembourg bolting out from stall seven and he could take Los Angeles with him. Auguste Rodin will try to sit just off the pace with Economics being held up at the back. However, the game plan can go wrong with horses that make their move late on and Auguste Rodin could just get too far ahead of Economics. The race could set up perfectly for Aidan O’Brien’s main runner.

I’m with TRUSTYOURINSTINCT as the form behind Jan Brueghel and Continuous is rock solid. Stepping up to 1m 4f will really suit as well and although Klondike could easily win, I’ll side with Joseph O’Brien’s runner.

Wille Mullins has five runners in here. It’s hard to fancy Lot of Joy and I’m on MY LYKA with Rachael Blackmore on board. He didn’t stay at Ascot but he could be the one out of the Willie runners. There’s plenty to like about him and his second at Killarney before Ascot was decent.

KORTEZ BAY won well at Fairyhouse and ran well before slowing at Ascot when finishing behind Haatem. He had a run at Cork in August and that could have set him up for this. He should be a decent price and the 7f distance should be ideal. Hopefully he can show improvement.

QUADRUPLE beat Chicago Fireball at the Curragh last time out and he was second behind Transcending Glory at Leopardstown before that. He just ran into a progressive horse that day and he’s got a great chance of winning this.
