India vs. Ireland pitch report: Nassau County International Cricket Stadium
A drop-in pitch will be used at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York for the match between India and Ireland.
The pitch for the last match, between South Africa and Sri Lanka, was a tricky and low-scoring wicket to bat on, due to the inconsistent bounce and spongy nature of the wicket.
While the batters struggled, the fast bowlers were able to adapt to the conditions quickly and extracted plenty of assistance from the grass on the wicket, as the pacers went on to pick nine wickets in the match.
However, a different pitch was used for the warm-up game between India and Bangladesh, which saw a score of over 180 runs in the first innings, but pacers played a key role on this surface as well. There are four pitches available to be used at the New York stadium.
