Home-working company InteleTravel has reported a sharp jump in sales in Ireland between St Stephen’s Day and New Year’s Eve, with bookings up 37% and revenues up 33% on the same period in 2023.
The growth follows a strong end to the year, with InteleTravel now having 9,000 homeworking advisors based across the Republic.
InteleTravel appointed a dedicated Ireland manager in December, Ann Marie Durkin, who will further strengthen partner relationships and increase training for advisors, re-enforcing the strategy to focus on advisor productivity. InteleTravel currently has 21 preferred partners.
InteleTravel will introduce its Advisor Reward and Recognition scheme in February, where advisors will receive personalised certificates for achieving specific commission levels, with further incentives and recognition as their commission levels grow. More details will be announced as the senior executive team visit Dublin later this month.
UK and Ireland managing director Tricia Handley-Hughes said: “February 2025 will be two years since InteleTravel launched in Ireland. Our business model aims to break down the barriers of running a travel business, and our advisor numbers reflect that travel remains an essential commodity – especially since emerging from Covid.
“We have seen steady growth, but the appointment of an Ireland manager confirms our investment in this important market, and we expect Ann Marie will optimize her industry experience to help nurture and grow the business.”
