Heimir Hallgrímsson has named his 24-man squad for Ireland’s upcoming Nations League games against Finland and Greece.
Luton Town defender Mark McGuinness has got his first call up to the national team, replacing Matt Doherty as Jack Taylor, Finn Azaz, Jamie McGrath, Festy Ebosele & Mikey Johnston all come into the squad.
Caoimhin Kelleher, Mark Travers and Max O’Leary are the goalkeepers with the likes of Nathan Collins, Dara O’Shea and Andrew Omobamidele all available in defence.
The midfield consists of the likes of Jason Knight, Josh Cullen and Jayson Molumby, along with Middlesborough midfielder Finn Azaz.
There are plenty of attacking options for Hallgrímsson to choose from with Adam Idah, Evan Ferguson and Troy Parrott available in the front line.
Ireland face Finland on Thursday, October 10th at Helsinki Olympic Stadium with kick off at 7:45pm Irish time.
Then, on October 13th, Ireland will play Greece at Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in Athens with kick off at 7:45pm Irish time.
Hallgrímsson will be looking for his first win as manager after losses to England and Greece.
