LOUGHBOROUGH – Due to a precautionary measure with the Ireland U-19s Men’s squad, a player has been added to the group as they continue to compete in the tri-series.
A decision has been taken by management for Reuben Wilson to return home to Dublin as a precautionary measure after reporting a back issue. After an assessment and consultation process he will then receive a scan over the coming days.
George McLoughlin will join up with the squad as they continue in Loughborough. McLoughlin has been identified through the pathway programme and being locally-based, he joins the squad to allow additional seam bowling cover.
A further update in the current tri-series is that Scotland will now play as as an “Academy” team, by virtue of some over 19-year-old players in their squad.
