The Irish U16 Girls’ and Boys’ teams have been selected ahead of their matches against England at Burnham & Berrow Golf Club.
The event takes place next week with the action getting underway on Saturday 5 October with morning Foursomes at the Somerset venue.
The Girls’ team consists of Ella Cantwell (Esker Hills), Hannah Lee McNamara (Royal Portrush), Gemma McMeekin (Royal Portrush), Kayleigh Mulholland (Moyola Park), Niamh O’Grady (Royal Dublin) and Jessica Reynolds (Co. Sligo).
Eoin Burrows (Belvoir Park), Adam Fahey (Portmarnock), John Moran (Portmarnock), Isaac Oliver (Ballinasloe), Harry O’Hara (Clandeboye) and John William Burke (Ballyhaunis) will represent the Boys.

World Junior Girls Championship team
The team was also announced ahead of the World Junior Girls Championship in Canada next week.
The current Bridgestone Order of Merit leader, Anna Abom (Edmondstown) will make the trip alongside Olivia Costello (Roscommon) and Kate Dillon (Oughterard).
The trio, who all took part in the recent KPMG Women’s Irish Open at Carton House, will play at Credit Valley Golf and Country Club in Ontario.
The event involves a 72-hole stroke play tournament, with individual and team events, and competitive rounds beginning on Wednesday 2 October.
