Projects focussing on early cancer detection, protecting children from cyberbullying and developing remote working hubs to reduce carbon emissions were among the winners at this year’s AI Awards.
The ‘Best Application of AI in a Large Enterprise’ award was presented to Pfizer for its ‘Smart Factory Co-pilot’ which monitors manufacturing processes.
The Consumer Service Award was won by Irish Life for its CARA system which uses advanced AI for claims processing.
In all, 12 winners were announced across areas including healthcare, sustainability and academia.
“At the AI Awards, we’re not just recognising technological achievements – we’re celebrating Ireland’s bold vision of using artificial intelligence to drive meaningful transformation across healthcare, sustainability, and beyond,” said Mark Kelly, AI Ireland founder.
The AI Awards are supported by Microsoft Ireland.
