A host of Irish stars are being tipped by bookies to appear on the 2024 edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
With a host of popular shows, including the Late Late Show and Strictly Come Dancing, returning in the past week alone, the public is already speculating on who will enter the jungle.
Normally beginning in November, no release date has been confirmed for the 24th season of Ant and Dec’s legendary reality TV Show which began back in 2002.
The current bookies favourite to battle creepy crawlies and bushtucker trials, according to Ladbrooks, is Irish singer Una Healy, who is priced at 2/1 to take part.
Una is no stranger to reality television, having appeared on the second season of ITV’s diving competition Splash in 2014, with Boyzone singer Keith Duffy also taking part.
On top of this, Saturdays singer Una has previously served as a judge on singing competition The Voice Ireland and ITV’s short-lived sports show Let’s Get Gold.
After turning heads on Celebrity Big Brother last year, former X-Factor judge Louis Walsh has odds of 3/1 to enter the jungle. During his time in the Big Brother house, Louis didn’t hold back when sharing tales from his career.
Considering his bandmate Kian Egan was crowned king of the jungle in 2013, Westlife singer Shane Filan may not be a shout at odds of 8/1.
As with most years since she burst onto the scene in 2019, fans are once again clamouring at the prospect of Irish Love Island star Maura Higgins taking part in the show.
While she is priced at 4/1 to enter the jungle, Love Island Aftersun US host Maura has continued to focus on her rising presenting career instead of taking part in reality shows.
Things could turn awkward if Maura was joined in the jungle by her best friend Molly Mae’s ex Tommy Fury, who is one of the non-Irish favourites to head to the Australian jungle.
Other names being linked to I’m A Celebrity 2024 is Corrie actor Alan Halshall, The Traitors winner Harry Clarke and former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield.
