It was aces high in Limerick at the weekend following the phenomenal success of Kerry player Dominic Lynch at the All-Ireland 60×30 Silver Masters A Singles championship final played in Broadford. Kerry has produced many top class handballers who have graced the National and International stage over the past number of decades, but few have had the charisma, years of selfless dedication and sheer class of Lynch from Glenbeigh Handball Club.

On Friday last he put all these traits on the line and was rewarded when he took on the challenge of Ollie Ryan from Carlow in the All-Ireland Handball final. At the end of the evening, Lynch secured victory with a well-executed display of handball and in the process won a staggering 38th All Ireland medal.
