DERRY will want to wash the bitter taste of this year’s championship so far out of their mouths ahead of this weekend’s All-Ireland quarter-final against Kerry.
A rematch of last year’s semi-final, if last time out for the sides was anything to go by then we will be in for a clash of the titans as Mickey Harte looks to redeem his first season in charge of the Oak Leafers.
Kerry themselves come into this in decent form, recovering their goal-scoring form in recent games after a dry patch, scoring one goal in three months between March and May.
David Clifford and Co will be hoping that they can go one better than last year and win their 39th Sam Maguire Cup.
What time is it taking place?
The game will take place as the second match on this Sunday (June 30)’s Croke Park double-header of All-Ireland quarter-finals.
Throw-in for this game will be at 3.15pm, with Donegal–Louth starting at 1.15pm.
Where can I watch the game?
Both of Sunday’s All-Ireland quarter-finals will be shown live on RTÉ’s The Sunday Game Live.
Coverage starts at 12.45pm on RTÉ1.
What’s the best way to travel to Croke Park?
Translink has put on a bus special from the Foyle Bus Station to the Irish capital, however this has already sold out.
