County Louth Golf Club has agreed a sponsorship deal with Kingspan to support the East of Ireland Amateur Open from June 1-3.
Speaking about the new agreement, Mr. Martin Healy, Captain of County Louth Golf Club said: “Having a sponsor is more than a commercial agreement, it is about having a partner that you can work with. Someone who shares your passion for what you are looking to achieve.
“We believe that Kingspan embody a lot of what is needed to further enhance this tournament into the future. Knowing that they support the likes of Shane Lowry, who won the 2009 Irish Open as an amateur here, was just an added bonus of linking up with Kingspan.”
Richard Beswick, Kingspan Sports Sponsorship Manager said: “Sponsoring the Kingspan East of Ireland Championship embodies our inherent affinity for golf and amateur sports in Ireland. Golf resonates deeply with our customers and mirrors the values we cherish as a business.
“Our partnership is a commitment to fostering local talent and building a sense of community through sports. Our connection with golf extends beyond this championship; It is reflected in our sponsorship of top Irish golfers such as Shane Lowry, Leona Maguire, and Mark Power, all of whom exemplify the talent and dedication within our nation’s golfing community.
“Shane’s remarkable victory at the Irish Open at County Louth Golf Club as an amateur in 2009 serves as a testament to the potential and passion nurtured within our amateur ranks.”
