Love and laughter was in the air as Lakers held its annual Valentine’s Day Disco, which took place at Bray Tennis Club.
Lakers’ Grainne Clarke, who is in charge of communications and fundraising, said the discos are “one of our members’ favourite activities”
“Who doesn’t love a good boogie? I know the guys here in Lakers do for sure. Our Family and Members Manager Sandra Fagan and our Juniors Development Coordinator Hannah Fox always put together a great night for the guys and our Valentine’s Disco last weekend was no different. The night was a hit, and they all had a blast. A big thank you to Bray Tennis Club for kindly accommodating us on Friday night, and Stephen, the DJ, for always filling the dance floor,” she said.

Meanwhile, over 100 members and their families are heading down to Galway on the weekend of February 23-25, for the annual Family Weekend Away, and on March 19, the ‘Grow with Lakers’ fundraising week kicks off, starting with a coffee morning in the newly renovated hall on the Tuesday. And, do keep an eye out for Lakers in both the Greystones and the Bray St Patrick’s Day parades this year!
