Brendan Lawlor made light of any tournament hosting pressure as he climbed into the lead at the Irish G4D Invitational at Carton House.
Lawlor carded a four-under 69 on the O’Meara course to take a one shot lead into the final round ahead of serial winner Kipp Poppert while Alan Gaynor is on two-under.
England’s Mike Browne rounds off the under par scoring on one-under after a 72.
Lawlor who plays out of Carton House, made a fine start at his home course with birdies on the first and fifth.
The former G4D Open winner responded with a bogey on the eighth with back to back birdies on the ninth and tenth before a birdie on the par-3 14th saw him edge out in front on his own.
Aidan Grenham is two-over after a 74 while Fiona Gray is six-over.
