Letterkenny Dancers to represent Ireland in UDO World Streetdance Championships

Must read

A group of 10 young people from Pinehill Dance Studios in Letterkenny have recently qualified to represent Ireland at the World Streetdance Championships in Blackpool.

Starting on August 14, they are ready to dance their hearts out to not only to represent Ireland but their proud county of Donegal.

These dancers have danced with Pinehill Dance Studios for many years, a dance studio which opened in 2013 and provides dance classes to all ages from three years to teens. This gang trains multiple times a week and competes nationally many times a year. They are so grateful to be given the opportunity to represent their country and can’t wait to learn from and inspire others on and off the dance floor in Blackpool.

They will be doing a group crew piece, quads, solos and doubles. Dancers include Cara McGroarty, Leah Flanagan, Hazel McCabe, Freya McGeehan, Luana Simms, Neala McDaid, Noah McCabe, Eva McGarvey, Priya Fox and Aria Barrett along with coach Kim Fox.

“We are so extremely proud of them all and want to wish them the best of luck at one of the biggest Streetdance/hip-hop competitions in the world,” Cara told DonegalLive. “You can find more info and keep up to date with their travels and success on PinehillStudios social pages!”
