Limerick minor football team to face Fermanagh in All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final named

THE Limerick minor football team to face Fermanagh in the All-Ireland Minor Football Tier Three championship preliminary quarter-final at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence, Bekan this Saturday at 2pm has been named. 

This is the first year of the All-Ireland Minor Football Tier Three Championship. 

Limerick come into this tie on the back of three defeats to Clare, Tipperary and Waterford in the Munster Minor Football Championship. Their opponents Fermanagh suffered defeats to Donegal, Tyrone, Monaghan and Down in Ulster championship. Both sides will be looking to register their first win of the year on Saturday. 

The winner will advance to the All-Ireland Minor Football Tier three championship quarter-final.
