ADAM Fahey, a 16-year-old from Termonfeckin, is representing his country this week after being selected by Golf Ireland to represent Ireland at the R&A Junior Open.

The prestigious biennial event, held at Kilmarnock (Barassie) Golf Club, is being played over 54 holes of stroke play and is a tournament that is closely linked to the Open Championship, inviting the top U16 boys and girls from all nations affiliated with the R&A.
