Major Aldi Ireland warning for thousands as store confirms temporary closure

ALDI Ireland customers have been warned of a store closure at one location in the country today.

The popular retailer have issued an apology to customers after confirming that the opening of their store has been impacted by an electricity outage.

The Blanchardstown store will remain closed until 9am this morning instead of opening at their usual hour of 8am.

In a notice posted online to customers, an Aldi Ireland spokesperson said: “Due to a power outage overnight, our Blanchardstown store will remain closed until 09.00 this morning.

“Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”

The Aldi store is expected to resume it’s normal opening hours after the small delay, closing at 10pm tonight and opening as usual at 8am tomorrow morning.

Separately, parents are set for a frenzy over a major children’s toys range coming to Aldi middle aisles across the country.

The budget supermarket will have a new collection for kids from May 19.

The first item in the range is the Ride-On Tractor with Trailer for €29.99.

It features a 2-in-1 tractor and lawnmower ride-on toy with a detachable trailer – and it has a ramp to help load and unload the lawnmower.

It also includes rugged wheels, an adjustable seat and a chunky steering wheel to make it easier for children to navigate themselves. It’s available in green and red.

Next up in the range is Little Town Balance Board for €34.99.

It is designed to inspire creative play and get active with the wooden balance board by aiding in your child’s physical development while providing them with entertaining time.

Aldi Ireland is also selling Little Town Play Sand for €4.99, and it is perfect for bringing the beach to your garden.

And there are many toys in the range that are excellent for the sands.

The Little Town Shell Sandpit, for €9.99, can be used for two things: a sand pit or a paddling pool.

It is easy to use as it only needs to be filled up with sand, water and their toys to enjoy endless hours of beach fun at home.

And there are Let’s Play Sand & Water Cases for €9.99 – it’s perfect for the sandpit.

It features three sand and water mills, a rake, a spade, four moulds and a bucket in an adorable suitcase.

The Little Town Water Sprinkler is priced at €5.99, and it’s a fantastic outdoor toy for kids.
