Andrew Bernard, Chief Executive Officer,
Greengate Biogas
Greengate Biogas, a biomethane plant operator in Ireland, announced the appointment of Andrew Bernard as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Bernard will lead the senior management team and oversee all aspects of governance, legal, and shareholder duties. With over two decades of experience in the renewable energy sector, his industry knowledge and his global network position him to drive the company towards achieving its ambitious goals.
Prior to joining Greengate Biogas, Andrew founded and served as the Principal Consultant at Biscayne Consulting Ltd. in London, UK. His consultancy provided strategic business and commercial development advice to clients, with a focus on alternative proteins, waste management, logistics, and renewable energy projects. Andrew also served as the Specialist Innovation and Technology Advisor for an EY consortium to the Republic of Cyprus Government. There, he focused on renewable energy systems, CO2 reduction, and sustainable waste and water recovery initiatives.

Dell Technologies has appointed Jason Ward as Vice President EMEA North and Managing Director of Dell Technologies Ireland. Jason will help customers and partners transform their organisations using AI. He will also teach them how to take advantage of the latest technologies in cybersecurity, intelligent edge, multi-cloud, 5G and Generative AI. Jason led the Irish business from 2020 to 2023 as the Vice-President for Medium Business Western Europe for two years. He previously held the role of MD of the enterprise business in the Nordics. Most recently, Jason led the Dell Technologies EMEA Global Alliances team.

GlobalLogic announced the appointment of Vivek Daga as the new Group Vice President, Managing Director for the UK, Ireland, and Emerging Markets. Prior, Vivek led the UK & Ireland business for three years at NTT Ltd and at Cognizant. His career also includes leadership roles at TCS and IBM, gaining global experience working in the USA, Europe, Australia and India. With his leadership, GlobalLogic aims to strengthen its ability to help clients harness their expertise in intelligent products, platforms, and services.

James Hamill, Director of Human Resources,
Wrightbus
Wrightbus, a transport manufacturer, has appointed James Hamill as the new director of human resources as its workforce continues to expand. The company is now on course for 2,000 employees by the end of the year. Similarly, the company has experienced more growth on the back of orders in the UK and Europe. It has also introduced new developments such as a hydrogen fuel cell coach in the pipeline for 2026. Hamill joined the Northern Ireland-based firm from global manufacturing firm Linamar, where he headed up HR for the European region’s 19 different production facilities.

The Credit Union Development Association (CUDA) has today announced the appointment of Helen Carbery as its new Chief Executive Officer. Helen steps into the role following the retirement decision of Dr. Kevin Johnson. Helen Carbery brings experience and leadership to CUDA, having worked in financial services for over two decades. Her extensive expertise spans retail banking, capital markets, insurance, and wealth management. Throughout her career, she has held numerous executive roles. Most notably in AIB, she led large business, product, lending and change teams in a highly regulated environment.

Deloitte announced Amine Bouguerra as a Tax Technology Consulting Partner. Amine spent the majority of his career in finance and tax technology consulting at Accenture, Oracle and Praesto. There, he developed the Tax Technology practice. He worked across life science, technology and financial services industries, advising clients on automation and optimisation of their finance and tax processes. Amine holds an MBA degree from Laval University in Canada.

ViaNautis Bio announces the appointment of Dr. Adi Hoess as Chief Executive Officer of ViaNautis. He will succeed Co-Founder and CEO Dr Francesca Crawford who has been stepping down from her role. He also served as CEO of Nasdaq-listed German biotech company Affimed N.V. for the last 13 years. His strategic and business experience positions him to expand the reach of ViaNautis’ technological applications and lead the company. Dr Hoess holds a medical degree from the Technical University of Munich. He completed his PhD at the University of Munich.
