Noreen Bonner helped the Ireland QW65 4x800m relay team set a new world record on Sunday.
The Finn Valley AC athlete ran the second leg of the relay at Morton Stadium in Santry.
Bonner was joined by Pauline Moran, Mary Browne and Brigid McCabe as they clocked 12:59.92 in Santry,.
The Irish quartet shattered the old mark of 14:49.29, which was held by the United States, with Bonner running a firm second leg.
Bonner is a World and European Masters medallist who is more accustomed to the longer distances.
From the shores of Lough Eske, Bonner’s athletics Bonner began at Donegal Vocational School and she has held several administrative positions at Finn Valley AC.
