First Minister Michelle O’Neill and Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly attended the International Investment Summit 2024 in London yesterday.
The Ministers met with key industry leaders including: Octopus Energy; BT and Netflix and highlighted that Northern Ireland is open for business.
During the summit, the Ministers also met with the Prime Minister and the Chancellor.
First Minister Michelle O’Neill said: “Today’s summit presents an enormous opportunity for us to connect with some of the world’s leading businesses and to make the case for them to invest.
“We are determined to attract major new investments, drive economic growth and create better job opportunities for everyone.”
Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly added: “This summit was an opportunity for global leaders to hear directly from the Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers on plans to drive future investment and it is vital that Northern Ireland is an integral part of this.
“Northern Ireland is a great place to invest in and we welcomed the opportunity to have constructive conversations with a range of industry leaders and highlighted the economic advantages of investing here.”
