Northern Ireland’s Top Leadership Summit Returns In September – Business Eye

Join over 250 senior leaders for a day of inspiration and empowerment at the CO3 Leadership Summit, on Thursday 26th September 2024 at the La Mon Hotel, for the biggest networking & learning event for leaders of the Voluntary and Community Sector in Northern Ireland.

World leading social entrepreneur and campaigner Josh Littlejohn will be making his return to CO3 after 5 years and will examine how things have changed in that time and delegates will learn if John has continued to ‘Pay it Forward’.

His debut book, ‘Paying it Forward: How to be a Social Entrepreneur’, was published in 2023 and is part memoir, part manifesto for social entrepreneurship, and an overall manual for putting purpose ahead of profit. Josh’s talk will inspire and equip the audience with practical lessons on leadership and social entrepreneurship, building on his extensive work in supporting homeless and vulnerable communities through initiatives like ‘Social Bite’ and ‘Brewgooder’.

Looking ahead to the conference Valerie McConville, Chief Executive of CO3 said. 

“Post election the third sector in Northern Ireland is in a new place, one marked by challenge and opportunity. The CO3 Leadership Summit will explore the key challenges that face leaders right now and provide a unique opportunity to discuss shared challenges, explore new opportunities and make connections. The event will also look at what makes an effective public policy campaigns, and hear from influential thought leaders on the future of funding in Northern Ireland.

The Future of Funding panel will feature representatives from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Halifax Foundation, Fermanagh House and the National Lottery.
