Paris 2024: Irish in action on Day 10 of Olympic Games

The schedule eases considerably for the Irish in action on Monday at the Olympics, caveated with a big name hitting the track for the first time.

Rhasidat Adeleke will be joined by Sharlene Mawdsley and Sophie Becker in the women’s 400 metres heats.

Adeleke and Mawdsley will be confident of progression, while Becker will need a superb run to reach the semi-finals.

Daniel Coyle, Cian O’Connor and Shane Sweetnam compete in the show jumping individual event.

The top 30 of 75 competitors advance to the next stage.

Finn Lynch and Eve McMahon conclude their sailing races with the top 10 advancing to the medal event.
